Privacy Policy
Effective 29 October 2026
The short version. Your habits, check-ins, notes and preferences are stored only on your iPhone. We don't have accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and we never see your habit data. If you subscribe to Premium, Apple processes the payment and our subscription service, RevenueCat, receives a random ID and your purchase details so the app knows Premium is active.
This policy explains how the HabitBloom app for iPhone ("HabitBloom", "the app") handles information. HabitBloom is provided by Muthuveerapandi S ("we", "us"). Questions: support@habitbloom.app.
1. Information that stays on your device
Everything you put into HabitBloom is stored on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. We don't run servers that receive or store it, and we can't see it. This includes:
- your habits, schedules, targets, reminders and notes;
- your check-ins, rest days and progress history;
- your challenges, milestones and badges;
- your onboarding answers (wellness goals, time available each day, preferred routine times) and your first name, if you choose to give one;
- your app settings, such as appearance and reminder preferences.
Some features use this data on your device only:
- Reminders are scheduled by iOS on your iPhone. You can hide habit names on the lock screen in the app's reminder settings.
- Widgets read a small summary of your habits that the app shares with its own widget through a private storage area on your device.
- Export and backup files are created only when you ask. You choose where to save them (for example Files or iCloud Drive), and that location's own terms then apply.
- Device backups. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, those backups may include HabitBloom data, under your Apple settings.
HabitBloom doesn't read Apple Health data, your contacts, photos or location.
2. Information used for subscriptions
HabitBloom is free to use, with an optional Premium subscription.
Apple
Purchases are made through your Apple ID and processed by Apple. We never receive your name, email address or payment card details from Apple. Apple's handling of your information is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat, Inc. (United States) to check purchases and decide whether Premium is active, including after you reinstall the app or switch iPhones. When the app starts and when you buy or restore a subscription, RevenueCat receives:
- a random identifier created by the app, which isn't linked to your name, email or Apple ID;
- your purchase and subscription records from the App Store: which plan, purchase and renewal dates, trial status, price, currency and App Store country;
- technical details needed to process the request: app version, iOS version, device type, language, Apple's app-specific device identifier (identifier for vendor, which is the same only across apps from the same developer), and your IP address.
RevenueCat doesn't receive your habits or any other content from section 1. We use this information only to provide Premium features, prevent purchase fraud, help with support requests, and see overall subscription statistics, such as how many people subscribe or renew. RevenueCat processes it on our behalf as a service provider. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy. RevenueCat keeps subscription records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations.
3. What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't show ads or use advertising identifiers.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
- We don't use third-party analytics in the app.
4. Your choices and rights
- See and export your data: Profile ▸ Your data ▸ Export everything.
- Delete your data: Profile ▸ Your data ▸ Delete all data erases everything HabitBloom stores on your iPhone. Deleting the app also removes it.
- Subscription records: cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings ▸ your name ▸ Subscriptions. To ask us to delete the subscription records RevenueCat holds for you, email support@habitbloom.app. Because we don't know who you are, we may need you to send a purchase receipt from Apple so we can find the right record. Apple keeps its own purchase records.
Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.
5. International transfers
RevenueCat processes subscription information in the United States. Where the law requires, these transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Children
HabitBloom is meant for people aged 13 and over and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has subscribed, contact us and we'll help remove the related subscription records.
7. Security
Your HabitBloom data is protected by your iPhone's own security, including your passcode and data protection. Information sent to RevenueCat is encrypted in transit. Export files you create aren't encrypted by HabitBloom, so store them somewhere you trust.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how HabitBloom handles information, we'll update this page and its effective date. For significant changes, such as adding an account or cloud sync, we'll also tell you in the app before the change applies to you.
